  Why attack?

  as someone brought up as a jw and been an elder and been disfellowshipped (twice!!!

  ) i find it difficult to understand why ex jws have to attack the religion, yes religion, not cult or sect.

  i am no longer disfellowshipped just do not want to practice anymore.

  The worst people to talk too are those that have been DF two or

  three times. Talking to a guy that had been DF four or five times, in

  a bar. He encouraging me to come back, you know it's the truth.

  And he was falling off the bar stool. I stopped serving him drinks and

  told him he must leave, I DF him.

  Did Jonah knew more than Jehovah? smart man!

  saturday's daily text: jonah 3:10 " --god felt regret--that he had spoken--" so jonah must have had a premonition, that he would be made to look like a fool because of his preaching, that is probably the real reason why he went to spain, tasted the fishy gastric juices for 3.5 days.

  because the all knowing god could not be bothered to foresee that the ninevites would change their attitude, --- bible nonsense.

  "god is adaptable" .

  So the big fish received a Divine appointment.

  Jonah 1:17 God appoint a great fish to swallow up Jonah.

  So the big fish wasn't just minding his own business and along

  came Jonah. No, God in some way appointed this fish to find Jonah

  and swallow him, not as a meal but as punishment.

  Make sense to me..

  I walked out on Top Gun with a few of the young boys in my

  congregation. A fellow veteran (Korea war) and me Vietnam, he

  a MS and I a elder. We took about six young boys to see movie.

  He (ms) and the boys did not understand why we walk out.

  My son ask me later, why did we leave? I still don't know, the mind

  of a nutty elder..They were ages 13-16.

  Welcome to the Hotel California such a lovely place. So I called up the

  captain "please bring me my wine". Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink

  champagne on ice.

  That's it ! mirrors on the ceiling. The booze is ok but mirrors on the ceiling,

  you know how the GB feel about those things.
